Did you know that the Garrett County Health Department offers a wide variety of family planning services?
Family planning services are offered by appointment in Oakland, Grantsville, and the Brady Health Center of Frostburg State University. Appointments can be made by calling 301-334-7770. All insurances are accepted. No one will be turned away for inability to pay. There is a sliding fee scale for individuals who do not have insurance. Pregnancy testing and emergency contraception are always available by walk-in.

Today, we’re reminding everyone that FREE condoms are available at Garrett County Health Department locations:
A variety of FREE condoms (LifeStyles, Magnum, Trojans, Trustex, Female, Flavored, & Latex-Free) are available at the Oakland and Grantsville health department locations. At the Oakland location, condoms are available in the male and female public restrooms on the first and second floors. Condoms are available in the male and female restrooms at the Grantsville Outreach Center. If supplies are limited or you are in need of a specific type of condom (latex free, magnum, etc….) please feel free to call 301-334-7770 to determine if this brand is currently in stock. All free condoms are provided by the Maryland State Department of Health.
